Hill side retaining wall

This retaining wall project by Golden Gate General Construction Inc. was a cornerstone of transforming a hillside property into a stunning and functional space. Located in Carla Ridge, Trousdale Estates, the 12-inch thick, 110-foot-long retaining wall was essential for creating the foundation for a future infinity zero-edge swimming pool and expanding the backyard space. Despite the challenges of working on a hillside and the complexity of the engineering, our team installed 24 caissons, each 32 inches in diameter and 28 feet deep into the bedrock, using 16-inch number 8 rebars for reinforcement. Due to hauling restrictions, we could only pour five yards of concrete at a time, requiring careful planning and execution. The result is a beautifully reinforced structure that sets the stage for luxury and elegance.
